About me:

I am a professional screenwriter, signed with United Agents, with additional experience in environmental journalism, copywriting and research.

I studied Physical Geography at Newcastle University, with a specific focus on glaciology. While at university, I was also the Managing Editor of the Science Section of The Courier, and co-hosted Releaf Radio, a weekly programme discussing environmental issues and climate change-related news.

I have contributed publications for multiple environmental nonprofits including the Natural History Society of Northumbria and the Word Forest Organisation. I've interned as a Social Media Officer for two environmental organisations: My Green World and Conservation Careers. I've also worked as a copywriter, with a specific focus on environmentally-centred copy, for the Avon Gorge and Downs Wildlife Project as well as James Ellis.

More recently, I was signed as a screenwriter by United Agents. I particularly enjoy telling environmentally-centred stories, and a short film I wrote exploring the impacts of deforestation in Brazil reached the final of the 2022 BlueCat Screenplay Competition. I believe that working in screenwriting has provided me with a unique ability to leverage the power of storytelling to generate attention, engage audiences and provoke action.
